Foxmarks: How to Upgrade

Follow this procedure to upgrade Foxmarks to the most recently available version:

Note: if you haven't already installed Foxmarks, try looking here instead.

  1. In Firefox, click on the Tools menu.
  2. Click on Add-ons (or Extensions in Firefox 1.5).
  3. Click Find Updates.
  4. Scroll Down in the Add-ons window until you find an entry for Foxmarks.
  5. If there is a newer version available than the one you are currently running, Firefox will provide you with an Update Now button. Click it.
  6. Firefox will download the newest Foxmarks extension.
  7. When the extension has finished downloading, restart Firefox to complete the installation.
